A free playable Empires of Steel demo has been released by Battlefront.com. Though this is a palayable demo for Empires of Steel, but in actual it is a beta version of the game that has been released for free. Empires of Steel demo lets you try various features of the full game if not all the features. The beta also supports multiplayer with upto 8 players on a DemoMap. Empires of Steel demo download contains many of the advanced features such as full featured map editor, unit set editor, in-game mod and scenario sharing system.
While this is a free Empires of Steel demo download that you can play for free, the beta imposes lots of restrictions when compared to the full version. There are only two maps in the Empires of Steel demo beta version. One of them is tutorial map and the other one is specially created demo map that we talked about earlier. Though the beta allows you to use full map editor but it does not allows you to load or save any maps. Also, Empires of Steel demo lets you access online file exhange service but does not permits you to use or downoad any of the files.
Empires of Steel demo download provided below is a time limited beta version of the game. It will expire automatically on October 31st. However you can update this beta to the latest release whenever available through the in-game update feature.
